Alert for myGov account holders

Many of you have myGov accounts to access Centrelink & Medicare and may have ticked the ATO link when setting up the account.


The ATO have begun sending all correspondence to those myGov accounts. The ATO sends an SMS or email advising that correspondence can be accessed via your myGov account. This bypasses the contractual arrangement between you and Thomas GLC, whereby we act as your agent with the ATO.


As your Tax Agent we need to check the accuracy of all correspondence before sending it to you, but cannot always do so if it is sent directly. Many of you may also be unaware of any correspondence sent.


To enable correspondence to continue to be sent to us, please unlink the ATO from your myGov account. Should you have any queries, please contact this office.
